The owners of Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery located in the Rivercity Marketplace have opened their second location in North Florida. The new cupcakery is located in Jacksonville Beach in a commercial shopping center. The sweets establishment sells “…freshly baked gourmet cupcakes” along with ice cream and other seasonal offerings. The new location, located off Hodges and Beach Boulevard, provides a large seating area to enjoy the sweet treats. Private events can rent out the bakery for birthday parties, company events, and more.
The new location was designed by Hota Design Studio. The interior design firm has experience designing other boutique food venues such as Mini Bar Coffee + Donuts and 5 Loves 2 Fish Cafe. The smaller square footage suites allow the design team to get creative with space to allow for front of house and back of house areas.
